A company that works on one problem
Proventa is a software company in Seoul. Our customers are manufacturers. NEXPORT is live; most of the company around it is still being built. That means the calendar, the plant visits, the vendor accounts, the office, and the incoming mail are not yet a department. They are a seat.
We say what we cannot do, we put dates on what we can, and we do not hire extra hands where a tool should run. The exception is this role. Some work has to be done by a person who notices what is about to slip.
The role
You will support the people who talk to manufacturers and the people who ship the product. The job is calendaring, travel, expenses, vendors, and the room we work in — done with enough judgment that nobody has to ask twice.
This is not a title that waits for instructions. You will see the week before the rest of us do: which plant visit collides with a demo, which invoice is sitting, which guest is coming to Mokdong without a badge. You handle it, or you bring the one decision that cannot be undone.
What you can expect to do
- Run sophisticated calendars in a week that mixes factory floors, customer calls, and shipping work. Protect time; do not just fill it.
- Book domestic travel to plants and the occasional international itinerary. Get people there with the documents they need.
- Track and process expenses so they do not become a second job for the person who just got back.
- Keep the Seoul office usable: vendors, supplies, visitors, the small events we actually host.
- Be the first read on a share of inbound mail — access requests, recruiting, the things that arrive at support@ — and route them to a person, not a pile.
- Work alone most hours, and with everyone when a day is about to break.
What we value
- Anticipation. The best version of this job is invisible because the collision never happens.
- Discretion. You will see customer names, travel, and conversations that are not yours to retell.
- Tact with people who do not work here — plant staff, landlords, accountants — and with people who do.
- Comfort with tools. Spreadsheets, calendars, and the ordinary software of an office should not be a learning project.
- A bias for finishing. Open loops are how a company of this size loses a week.
What we require
- At least three years supporting people or an office in a place where the calendar was actually under pressure.
- Fluent Korean, and enough English to handle vendors, travel, and this team without a translator.
- Experience booking travel and processing expenses. Software fluency with the usual suite — mail, calendar, spreadsheets.
- Ability to work on site in Seoul, full time, at 43 Mokdong-jungang-ro, Yangcheon-gu.
How to apply
Write to people@proventainc.com with “Careers — Administrative Partner” in the subject line.
Tell us three things: something you built or fixed in an operation, end to end; why this problem rather than another one; how to reach you. A CV is welcome.
