Build the software that lets the better product win.
Good manufacturers lose orders to worse ones with larger sales teams. NEXPORT is live. The distance behind it is barely closed. We are hiring in Seoul for the four kinds of work that make the company run — talking to factories, building the product, keeping the office moving, and looking after the people in it.
Why it is worth your time

The trade records that say who is buying what already exist. Nobody has turned them into a straight answer for a specific factory’s catalogue. That is the work. It is unusually concrete: a manufacturer’s export numbers either move or they do not. There is no metric in between to hide behind.
It is also small. Decisions are made by the people doing the work, and what you ship reaches customers in weeks rather than quarters. That cuts both ways. The scaffolding you might expect at a larger company is not here, and some of what you build you will also be the one to operate.
If you want a finished system to maintain, this is the wrong place. If you want the part that does not exist yet, keep reading.
The same four principles, read as a hiring lens
You work on the problem, not your title
At this size the founder proofreads tags and engineers sit in customer interviews. “Not my job” is a sentence for a company with more people in it.
You ship reversible things without asking
Most decisions can be undone, and those do not need a meeting. Bring the ones that cannot — pricing, contracts, brand, customer data.
You check what a model drafts
We use AI for first drafts everywhere. Our customers work under certification and regulation, so the judgment about what is correct stays with a person, and that person is you.
You say what you cannot do
Disagree before the decision, not after it. Say when something is beyond you or behind schedule early enough that it can be dealt with.
Four seats in Seoul
Full-time and on site. We are too small to run a team we do not sit with. Each posting says what the work actually is. If none of them fit but the problem does, write anyway and say what you would take on first.
Manufacturer Partner
Sit with exporters, turn a catalogue into a working NEXPORT deployment, and stay until the first real conversations are in the pipeline — not a pitch deck.
Read the roleSoftware Engineer
Build the matching, the pipeline, and the checks around the model. Ship the parts that do not exist yet, then operate them when a factory is waiting on the answer.
Read the roleAdministrative Partner
Keep the calendar, the travel to plants, and the office from becoming the bottleneck. The work is unglamorous on purpose. It is also how the rest of us stay fast.
Read the rolePeople Partner
Hire against the four principles, not a headcount plan. Design how a small company gives feedback, grows people, and notices when something is off.

Write to people@proventainc.com with the word “Careers” and the role you want in the subject line.
Tell us three things:
Something you built or fixed that you can describe end to end — what was wrong, what you did, how you knew it worked.
Why this problem rather than another one.
How to reach you.
A CV is welcome but not required, and a cover letter written by a model is worth less to us than three honest paragraphs. We read everything and reply either way.
