Manufacturer Partner

The people who talk to manufacturers. Not a sales team for hire — the person who puts NEXPORT in a factory and stays until it is doing work.

A company that works on one problem

Proventa builds software for manufacturers. The only problem we take on is the distance between a good product and the buyer who never finds it. NEXPORT turns a factory’s catalogue and certifications into tags, matches those tags against customs records, and keeps outreach in one pipeline. A model drafts. A person checks every tag and every message before it leaves the building.

Good manufacturers lose orders to worse ones with larger sales teams. That is a real thing happening to real companies. The work counts only when the customer’s own export numbers move.

The role

This is the seat closest to the factory floor. You will sit with owners and export managers who have never used software like this, read what they actually make — not what a brochure says — and turn that into a working deployment.

No two weeks look the same, but you should expect to spend most of them with customers, not with an internal deck. You will argue about tags. You will say plainly what the product cannot do. You will come back to Seoul with the next thing the product has to learn.

What you can expect to do

  • Go on site to manufacturers in Korea, walk the catalogue and the certifications, and leave with a tag set a person has checked.
  • Stand up NEXPORT for that company: who to approach, why they are on the list, what to send, what is due today.
  • Train the people who will live in the pipeline, then stay long enough to see whether they actually use it.
  • Write the first outreach drafts with the model, then read every one before anything is sent.
  • Bring product and engineering the disagreements — a match the customer rejected, a category the records do not cover, a workflow the software still assumes.
  • Scope the next engagement in sentences a factory owner can check, with dates on the promises.

What we value

  • Comfort in rooms where the product is metal, chemical, or certified, and the conversation is in Korean first.
  • The habit of going into the detail until the list of buyers is something you would defend, not something you would present.
  • Low ego about title. At this size you will also write the follow-up and sit in the engineering review of what broke.
  • Open-ended problems held to a close: you leave a plant with a next step, not a “let’s stay in touch.”
  • Willingness to travel inside Korea most weeks. The work is on site with the customer more often than it is at a desk.

What we require

  • Fluent business Korean and English — reading, writing, and speaking. This is not optional. The customer and the records are in both.
  • Evidence you have taken something ambiguous — a messy account, a new market, a broken process — and left it clearer than you found it.
  • Ability to work on site in Seoul, full time. We are too small to run a team we do not sit with.

Experience selling software, working in export, or reading trade data is useful. It is not a gate. What we cannot teach quickly is judgment in front of a customer and the discipline to say what you cannot do.

How to apply

Write to people@proventainc.com with “Careers — Manufacturer Partner” in the subject line.

Tell us three things: something you built or fixed, end to end; why this problem rather than another one; how to reach you. A CV is welcome. A cover letter written by a model is not a substitute for those three paragraphs.
